I feel so special.

Sorry, Mr. Muny, et al. You've lost the hearts and minds of the people you claim to represent and your association with Full Tilt is a permanent PR problem. Nothing short of a complete administrative overhaul, public audit and re-brand can save your shop now.

If the PPA had made ANY progress since they set up shop back in '06, perhaps I'd be a little less harsh with them. But they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to further the cause of legalized online poker in the USA aside from getting into a few offices on the Hill and taking meetings that clearly went nowhere. If the PPA wasn't so obviously inept, perhaps they'd have more support among players and the poker media.change100https://www.blogger.com/profile/18345734448270997870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14010211.post-8394981009298789022011-09-21T23:15:42.418-07:002011-09-21T23:15:42.418-07:00According to the article: "This is still unco...According to the article: "This is still unconfirmed by either the AGCC & Full Tilt Poker , as neither were available for comment when the Post received this information." and now at the heading it says update coming soon. Subject: Poker reported late this evening about the French investor. FTP doesn't have much money left and with DOJ involved I'm not sure what they benefit by stalling at this point.Lisa Nicholshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08330035029600079372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14010211.post-69684701178605525802011-09-21T23:05:05.849-07:002011-09-21T23:05:05.849-07:00PPA backed the Reid bill and pushed it hard. But since when does the mere "will of the people" get anything done in American politics? The people overwhelmingly want to tax millionaires. Not gonna get done. The people want to decriminalize marijuana on a Federal level. Not gonna get done. The people want to see Wall Street criminals in jail. Never, ever gonna happen despite the fact that their crimes against the American people are exponentially worse than the fraud FTP perpetrated.

The only thing that gets anything done in America is a big-ass bag of cash paid to the right people. I'm sorry, but after their abysmal efforts over the last four years, I don't trust the PPA to be our bag man.change100https://www.blogger.com/profile/18345734448270997870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14010211.post-78805744040530907022011-09-21T22:02:49.016-07:002011-09-21T22:02:49.016-07:00Also the PPA fully supported the Reid bill but unf...Also the PPA fully supported the Reid bill but unfortunately US players were too content with the status quo at that time and bill never went anywhere. Not to mention, the Reid bill was written for B&M's interest not the the online poker player. The PPA is working hard for legislation now and honestly they are our best hope. Support of HR 2366 the Barton bill is key now for the future of online poker and the PPA is working hard to raise support for this bill.Lisa Nicholshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08330035029600079372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14010211.post-50061431034200445672011-09-21T19:29:52.232-07:002011-09-21T19:29:52.232-07:00Where are you getting that AGCC pulled FTP's l...Where are you getting that AGCC pulled FTP's license? I don't mean to dispute you but I don't think a decision on another extension has been made yet. Accord to Subject: Poker there is a French investor involved and who has notified AGCC of his intentions. There is a 2p2 thread that has been going on today about it. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29/news-views-gossip/message-jeff-ifrah-regarding-agcc-trial-1102182/index53.htmlLisa Nicholshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08330035029600079372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14010211.post-50108438255830002562011-09-21T19:03:53.277-07:002011-09-21T19:03:53.277-07:00Well written and well said. It's unfortunately...Well written and well said. It's unfortunately true. It's what I and I'm sure every other online poker player has been thinking. How can we recover after this? It was bad enough with the press coverage, but like you said, add the words ponzi scheme, and no one wants to touch it. We are now far worse than where we started, and I'm sure there will be more bad press. Just like in anything, all it takes is a few bad apples to ruin the whole display at the grocery store.Jayson's Infohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05443305148012345692noreply@blogger.com
