I...I'm surprised you are such a fan of Jackie Tohn. I knew her growing up for a bit (we worked at the same camp for a couple of summers) and she was always an actress, not a singer. She played the Nanny's (Fran Drescher's) neice on that show and I think she did some other stuff as well. Whatever the case, even somewhat knowing her, I can't help but think that her singing (at least what's been shown) has been subpar. I feel like she is also getting the the Pacitti treatment, probably getting through moreso on her experience in the biz than on talent. But who knows? Maybe if you don't see her as an actress, her singing comes off as more authentic.
